Inspection Proposal
 
Who is a responsible person for inspection and report?
 
  Fire Service Law defines as follows;
Owner of the fire preventive property
Manager of the fire preventive property
Occupancy of the fire preventive property
Who can perform inspection?
 
 

For the specially designated fire preventive properties, and not specially designated fire preventive properties that have the total floor area of more than 1,000 square meters;

    Licensed Fire Engineer or Fire Protection Inspector must perform the inspection, and report to Fire Department the results of inspection.
 
Frequency of performance;

 

Visual and operational inspection; More than once(1) in every six(6) months

Overall operation inspection; More than once(1) a year

 
Fire protection systems
 

Alarm systems;
Automatic Fire Alarm System, Gas Leak Alarm System, Electricity Leak Alarm System, Public Address System Emergency Alarm System

Fire Suppression Systems;
Hand Fire Extinguisher, Indoor Hydrant, Sprinkler System, Dry Chemical, Foam, Gaseous type Fire Extinguishing Systems

Evacuation Equipment;
Fire Escape Tools, Evacuation Exit Light, Life Chute, Descending Lifeline

Fire Fighting System
Smoke Control System, Drencher System, and Siamese Connection, Fire Pumping Unit

Report

Once a year;
Specially designated Fire Preventive Property:
Department Stores, Hotel and Inn, Hospital, Restaurant, and Shopping mall in basement must be reported to Fire Department the results of inspection.

Once in 3(three) year;
Non-designated Fire Preventive Property:
Factory, Office, Storage, Apartment, School, Car parking must be
reported to Fire Department the results of inspection.
